Registered Munchkin Cat Breeder
A small, registered Munchkin breeding program run from our family home — built on health testing, ethical practices, and a decade-plus of hands-on experience raising the breed.
Our experience
Maple & Paw Cattery has been raising Munchkin cats since 2014. Over more than ten years we've placed 200+ kittens with families across the United States. Every kitten we've ever raised was born inside our home — never in a kennel, never in an outbuilding, never in a separate cattery facility.
Our breeding philosophy
We breed a deliberately small number of litters each year — typically two to three — so every kitten receives hundreds of hours of one-on-one socialization before going home. We breed only health-screened parents, never breed a cat younger than 18 months or older than 5 years, and retire our queens early.
Health testing & veterinary oversight
DNA screening
Breeding adults are DNA-screened for known feline genetic conditions before being bred.
Annual vet clearances
Every breeding cat receives an annual wellness exam, bloodwork, and cardiac screening.
Vaccinations & deworming
Kittens follow a full FVRCP vaccination schedule and five-stage deworming protocol.
Written health guarantee
2-year written guarantee against congenital and genetic conditions for every kitten.
Registration
Our kittens are placed with registration paperwork and full pedigree documentation. Specific registry information (TICA, CFA) is shared with serious adopters during the application process so you can verify our standing directly with the registering body.
