Frequently Asked Questions
The answers families ask for, in one place.
What is the average Munchkin cat price?+
Our Munchkin kittens are typically placed between $2,500 and $4,500. The exact price depends on lineage, color, and whether the kitten is sold on pet or breeding terms. Every kitten — regardless of price — receives identical veterinary care and socialization.
Are Munchkin kittens healthy?+
Yes. Munchkins as a breed are generally healthy when bred ethically. Our breeding cats are DNA tested, our litters are veterinarian-supervised, and every kitten has a written 2-year health guarantee.
Do Munchkin cats have genetic testing?+
All of our breeding cats are screened through a feline genetic panel covering HCM markers, PKD, PK Deficiency, and other inherited conditions. Pairings are made to avoid at-risk combinations.
What vaccinations do Munchkin kittens receive?+
FVRCP at 8 and 12 weeks (and 16 weeks if still in our care), administered by our partner veterinarian. Rabies is added at 16+ weeks if required by your state or requested.
Do you ship Munchkin kittens nationwide?+
Yes. We offer in-cabin flight nanny delivery, USDA-licensed ground transport, halfway meets, and local pickup. We never ship in cargo.
What is included with adoption?+
Written health guarantee, full vaccination and deworming records, microchip registration, veterinary health certificate, pedigree paperwork, starter food and blanket, and lifetime breeder support.
How do I reserve a kitten?+
Submit an application, schedule a short video meet, and place a $500 non-refundable deposit to hold your chosen kitten. You'll receive weekly updates until go-home day.
Do Munchkin cats have back problems?+
Independent veterinary research has not found Munchkins to be predisposed to back or spinal problems. Their short legs are caused by an autosomal dominant gene that affects long-bone growth only.
Are Munchkins good with children and other pets?+
Yes. Our kittens are raised with children and a calm resident dog. They are typically affectionate, playful, and adapt well to multi-pet households when introduced thoughtfully.
What if I can no longer keep my Munchkin?+
Our contract includes a no-surrender clause and a return-to-breeder option for the life of the cat. We will always take back a kitten we raised.
