A small home cattery, not a kennel.
I started raising Munchkin cats more than ten years ago after bringing home our first short-legged kitten, a little female named Hazel. Her playful personality and almost comically affectionate nature changed everything I thought I knew about cats.
Every Munchkin kitten we raise is born inside our home — usually right at the foot of our bed. From the moment their eyes open, they’re part of our daily life: handled gently every day, introduced to vacuum noises, children, car rides, and a calm resident dog, and given an enormous amount of one-on-one attention.
We breed a very small number of litters each year on purpose. That’s the only way we know how to raise the kind of confident, healthy companion we’d want for our own family.
